Employment Type: Permanent Part Time, 32 hours per week. Location: Campbelltown Mental Health. Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 1 / Level 2. Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality occupational therapy service to adults with acute mental health needs, including entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and discharge within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Undertake designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.
Where You'll Be Working
SWSLHD Inpatient Mental Health Services provide care across Campbelltown Hospital and Liverpool Hospital, including units such as the Mental Health Intensive Care Unit, Adult Acute Unit, and Older People's Mental Health Unit. The service values patient safety and high-quality care with external accreditation (Australian Council on Healthcare Standards). The team offers teaching and research links with universities and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Qualifications
- Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience providing person-centred occupational therapy interventions for adults with acute mental health needs.
- Ability to develop and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with clients and senior clinicians; use goal-oriented strategies and monitor progress.
- Ability to manage competing clinical and administrative demands in a fast-paced mental health setting; prioritise tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
- Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). If licensed in another state, obtain NSW C class (P1 or P2) within three months of appointment. Learner licenses are not permitted.
