Account Manager Merchandise

We are currently offering a great opportunity for an Account Manager - Merchandise Sales to join our Temora Branch.

We're open to receiving applicants with a range of capabilities and skills. There is scope, based on experience for this role to become either Sales Support - Merchandise or Merchandise Manager, catering for a wider degree of candidates to find the right person to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is enthusiastic and has a passion for agriculture. About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work closely with our key clients and customers in Temora and surrounds to deliver merchandise sales with a focus on safety, value, and service. You will support the wider team and play a vital role in achieving the overall business objectives.

You will be responsible for Sales and providing merchandise support across a range of categories including Crop Protection, Seed, Animal Health and Nutrition, Animal Management, Fencing, Water Equipment, and General Merchandise, including:

1. Sales and growth
2. Quality service, promoting a wide range of products which provide solutions for our clients and customers
3. Working with our valued suppliers
4. Providing and coordinating on-farm deliveries
5. Meeting our financial objectives
6. Maintaining safety, quality, and presentation of the store and merchandising to the highest standards
7. Inventory management including stocktakes

About You:

To be successful you will have:

1. A passion for Australian agriculture and ideally experience in rural merchandise sales.
2. Good basic knowledge of winter dryland cropping and livestock enterprises.
3. Great customer service, work well in a team, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
4. Sound computing skills complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated enthusiasm and initiative with the ability to develop positive relationships with customers.
6. This position involves on-farm work and travel, so a Driver's license is a requirement; HR license is desirable (or willing to obtain).
7. A forklift license is advantageous or must be willing to obtain.
