Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Sydney, NSW for a Compliance Engineer. The Compliance Engineer will ensure product and regulatory compliance, conduct regular safety and compliance audits, and provide technical support on compliance-related issues.

What will you be doing?
  • Programs the test facility if applicable.
  • Organises (type) tests and simulation test on vehicle components.
  • Evaluates the data.
  • Organises witness testing by EC/ECE regulation and directives.
  • Works with the VCA to has test reports accepted.
  • Main point of contact for the VCA for all Type approval matters.
  • Signs type approval documents to be handed in to authorities.
  • If required: Plans, prepares and carries out audits in compliance with the accreditation requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What we expect of you:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in related area.
  • University degree relevant to the field.
  • Innovates with the suppliers/stakeholders to deliver improvement.
  • Shapes and aligns functional offer to best meet company need.
  • Manages relationships with VCA at all levels.
  • Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus
