You'll lead the charge on events, sponsorships, and storytelling moments that reinforce our legacy and relevance — from the heartland to the high street. Working closely with our media, retail and content teams, you'll drive visibility, amplify our voice, and build powerful associations with the people, places and moments that matter.

Key Responsibilities

As PR, Sponsorships & Activations Manager, you'll lead the strategic planning and day-to-day delivery of campaigns that raise brand visibility, strengthen community engagement, and bring our story to life across Australia and New Zealand. You'll manage our earned media presence, agency relationships, and brand activations, ensuring we show up in the right way, in the right places, with the right partners. You'll also drive our Heartland strategy, executing regional events and partnerships that honour our roots and expand our reach.

Working alongside the Head of Marketing, you'll manage budgets, campaign timelines, event logistics, and performance reporting, while mentoring junior team members. With a strong eye for cultural relevance and an instinct for storytelling, your work will ensure R.M.Williams remains front of mind and close to heart.

Experience / Technical Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in PR, brand activations, or partnership marketing (agency or in-house)
• Proven success in earned media and influencer engagement, with strong media and tastemaker relationships across ANZ
• Demonstrated ability to lead brand activations, sponsorships, and events — from concept to execution
• High-level project management skills, including use of tools like Monday.com, Trello or Asana
• Strong commercial awareness and confident in budget management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building brand advocacy
• A deep understanding of the cultural and media landscape across Australia and New Zealand
