Building on Curtin University's 20-year tertiary education partnership with the Sri Lankan government, the University's seventh global campus in Colombo was officially launched in December 2024. This milestone further cements Curtin's status as one of the world's most internationally connected universities; together with campuses in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and Mauritius, Curtin is advancing its strategic priority in building a stronger Global Campus Network across the Indian Ocean Rim.

Curtin is now seeking to appoint its Pro Vice-Chancellor and President for its Campus in Colombo. Curtin Colombo education offerings are internationally recognised for quality and future career preparation. The university has been successful in building strong partnerships with the Sri Lankan government, industry and the community to help inform the University's teaching and research. This enables Curtin Colombo to ensure that courses, co-curricular activities that support student learning outside the classroom and research programmes build capacity and address topics that are relevant to Sri Lanka and the region.

The next Pro Vice-Chancellor and President will be an inspiring, entrepreneurial, and culturally fluent experienced leader. As a member of Curtin's Senior Team, the PVC will have the ability to provide critical leadership in advancing Curtin's ambition as a global university and bring experience in growing education and research activities in Sri Lanka. A passion for excellence in education, student life and research is a prerequisite.
