This vibrant, not-for-profit senior citizens' club provides a range of services, including on-site health care, in-home support, and engaging recreational activities. Currently in a season of growth and expansion, this industry leading facility is searching for a Chief Financial Officer to join the team.

This brilliantly supportive organisation has a proven track record of high staff retention and providing high quality on-boarding. This isn't just any regular aged care provider; this is a company that truly wants to make a difference in the local community and a place where the CEO knows every staff member by name.

As CFO, you will be the strategic financial leader, providing guidance, insight, and direction to the finance team while working closely with the executive team to drive organisational growth. You'll have the opportunity to shape financial systems, implement best practices, and ensure the organisation is well-positioned for its exciting expansion plans.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team
  • Oversee all financial operations of the organisation
  • Provide strategic financial advice and reporting to the CEO and board
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and NFP reporting standards
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance culture

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader
  • Not-for-profit or aged care experience is HIGHLY favourable
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen
  • Excellent knowledge of compliance, governance, and financial legislation
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
