Overview

Retail and Education Manager (REM) in NSW for Aesop, reporting to the Senior Retail and Education Manager. Responsible for the success and performance of eight spaces across Sydney, including Neighbourhood and Signature stores, within the L'Oréal Luxe division.

Role is full-time with some weekend work and is a 12 Month Max Term Contract.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and develop NSW stores and counters, ensuring achievement of sales targets with a focus on elevation and growth.
  • Drive operational excellence by coaching, developing, and motivating staff; demonstrate commitment to outstanding and inclusive customer service.
  • Build and expand the store portfolio's customer base by engaging with local communities and leading relevant events that reward customers for their patronage.
  • Promote the Aesop brand and its portfolio by developing reputation and profile across stores and counters.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a high standard of presentation, customer experience, and brand integrity.
  • Participate in weekend work as required and support flexible scheduling to meet business needs.
What We Are Looking For
  • Previous multi-site management experience within a customer service environment.
  • Insight and knowledge of the NSW market and its movements.
  • Solid understanding of analysis and financial management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage varying stakeholder requirements.
  • Experience in coaching and developing staff and driving commercial outcomes within an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use empathy to manage interpersonal relationships.
  • Open mindset, curiosity, active listening, and ability to consider diverse perspectives.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; computer literacy including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel).
