**Position:** Scientist (Histopathology)

**Location:** Townsville, QLD

We offer full-time employment with shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and participation in after-hours frozen section procedures as required.

**Key Responsibilities**

Our team performs specimen registration and accessioning, referral work, embedding, microtomy, dissection of simple, non-complex and some complex tissues, frozen sections and special stain procedures.

**Requirements**

We are looking for applicants with an appropriate degree/diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or other relevant qualification. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiastic attitude and a proven ability to work in a busy environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential. A current driver's license is required.
