Innovation and Performance Partner – Central Coast Council

Location: Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia

Permanent full time role available with a 9 day fortnight. Hybrid and flexible working conditions available (2 days from home, 3 days onsite).

Responsibilities
  • Drive organisational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify service optimisation opportunities.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver value-creating initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualifications in Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a large organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and synthesise information effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a focus on customer outcomes.
About the Role

The Innovation and Performance Partner is a pivotal position responsible for driving enhanced organisational performance through strategic service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves expert facilitation and business analysis to ensure services are optimised to meet community needs and organisational goals. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the role fosters an integrated approach to business excellence and continuous improvement, enabling service optimisation and transformation across Council. The role supports the Community Strategic Plan by proactively identifying and enabling cross-functional improvements that enhance service delivery, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.

Other Information
  • The commencing salary is up to $106.6k per annum, with progression opportunities to $123.5k per annum plus 12% superannuation.
  • This is a permanent full-time role with a 9 day fortnight.
  • Hybrid work option available: 2 days from home and 3 days onsite.
  • Location: Wyong Administration Building.
  • Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process to fill other vacancies.
