The APS 5 Business Intelligence Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the APS 5 Business Intelligence Officer position.

This role will involve interpreting and providing advice on legislation, policy, and procedures. The successful candidate will undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct assessments, and perform procedural work to achieve results.

They will coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent with a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.

The APS 5 Business Intelligence Officer will be required to engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond, and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.

The successful candidate will exercise both initiative and judgment in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and provide advice on legislation, policy, and procedures.
  • Undertake specialist research and analysis.
  • Conduct assessments and perform procedural work.
  • Coordinate and contribute to team work.
  • Engage and communicate with stakeholders.

About Our Team:

We are working on the Hunter Class Frigate project, which will deliver six advanced warships to the Royal Australian Navy.
