Join our team as a EL2 – Director, Business Intelligence
This exciting ongoing role within the Finance and Analytics Branch at The Administrative Review Tribunal offers flexibility and can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, or Perth.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is EL2 - $140,890 - $160,176 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Finance and Analytics Officer the Director Business Intelligence will lead the ART's business intelligence (BI) section and drive the development and review of the ART's caseload strategy.
You will be required to collaborate with operational, data and information areas across the ART to capture relevant organisational data and provide analysis and reporting to support effective planning and decision making. In particular, you will be responsible for developing and delivering whole-of-caseload recommendations, monitoring performance against key organisational measures, and delivering high-level insights
About you:
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a collaborative team including proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the ability to negotiate and influence effectively, particularly in engagement with senior leaders and other agencies.
- Expert conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and translate complex data into high-quality reports and actionable insights that support whole-of-organisation decision-making and strategy development.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to work with a high level of autonomy and anticipate and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in monitoring organisational performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategic adjustments based on data insights.
- Ability to gain an understanding of the Tribunal's legislative and policy context and operations, with the ability to leverage data to support organisational growth, performance, and strategy.
- A degree from a university, or an educational qualification of a similar standing, in the field of data analytics, or
- Extensive experience related to data analytics or organisational performance reporting
- The Tribunal requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement
- All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment
