PR & Marketing Manager

Australian brand Lee Mathews delicately weaves colour, texture, and prints into sophisticated and refined seasonal collections. Inspired by the interests of the founder, Lee, prints and textiles are derived from her love for art, silhouettes from her passion for architecture, and colour palettes from her vast library of books and travel.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced PR & Marketing Manager with strong industry connections to amplify the brand's presence through strategic relationships, curated events, and considered collaborations. Working closely with the CEO & Founder, and wider team, you will focus on outward-facing brand activity – nurturing relationships with media, stylists, friends of the brand, and aligned collaborators to secure the Lee Mathews profile and position in the market.

This is a highly networked role, ideal for someone with a confident industry presence and a proven track record of developing impactful exposure with meaningful partnerships.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

• Developing and executing a PR & Marketing strategy to strengthen brand positioning in local and international markets.
• Leveraging media, stylist, and friends of the brand relationships to deliver high-value coverage.
• Building partnerships with aligned brands, creatives, and industry leaders.
• Securing sponsorship opportunities that enhance brand presence and create mutual value.
• Planning and managing events, activations, and in-store experiences that support brand storytelling and commercial goals.
• Representing the brand at industry events, maintaining a polished and professional presence.
• Collaborating with the creative team to ensure PR initiatives align with the overall brand strategy.
• Tracking and reporting on PR outcomes, providing market insights to guide future strategies.
• Managing the PR & Marketing budget, ensuring spend aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable outcomes.

Requirements for the role:

• 5+ years' experience in PR, brand partnerships, or events.
• Established network of media and industry contacts.
• Proven success in securing valuable press coverage and delivering high-quality events.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrating creative thinking with a strong ability to generate original, distinctive ideas.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Confident and comfortable in high-profile settings.
