Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, and assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties and social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
  • Be a friendly face and brighten someone\'s day.
What You'll Be Doing
  • As a valued team member, provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes.
  • Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role and applies to both entry-level and experienced carers.
  • Help with household tasks and offer personal support to make a real difference in clients' lives.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Live in or near Mullumbimby NSW including surrounding suburbs (Pottsville, Mooball, Crabbes Creek, Billinudgel, Ocean Shores, Brunswick Heads, Tyagarah, Ewingsdale, Bangalow, Suffolk Park & Byron Bay).
  • Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (International licences or shared/rental vehicles not accepted).
  • Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
  • Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday (1 weekend per month).
  • Commitment to the paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training at the local branch office (travel for training required).
  • This role is NOT a vacancy for Disability work or to work in a facility/nursing home.
What This Role Offers
  • Open to experienced candidates.
  • Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts.
  • Permanent Contract hours: Experienced Carers – 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up hours.
  • Hourly Rate: $32.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time.
