About this role
- We are seeking a skilled cleaner to join our team in a residential aged care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of residents' rooms and common areas.
- Clean and maintain residents' rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
- Ensure all areas of the home are clean and tidy, including corridors, lounges, and dining areas.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals and provide excellent service to residents.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team promptly.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in cleaning and maintenance work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
- A reliable and punctual attendance record.
