Overview

Join to apply for the Catholic School Teachers 2026 role at Catholic Education Western Australia.

We are seeking passionate qualified teachers for Kimberley Calling – a CEWA initiative inviting you to empower students in WA's outback communities, including Broome and 13 school destinations. CEWA welcomes both Catholic and Non-Catholic candidates.

Successful applicants require a university degree (or equivalent) in Education and registration with the TRBWA, with availability for long-term contracts (12+ months) or relief contracts between 5 to 10 weeks of a school term.

Base pay range

A$97,319.00/yr - A$163,371.00/yr

Remuneration
  • $88,785 - $132,585 per annum + Superannuation 11%
  • Annual bonus $5,000 - $20,000
  • Location allowance $3,534 - $10,786 per annum

Requirements

Before you apply for this job, you need:

  • University degree in Education or equivalent (Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary)
  • Registration confirmation from Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) – online process

  • Working with Children Check (in Western Australia; proceed after job offer if currently outside WA)
