Business Development and Marketing Coordinators

Overview

McCullough Robertson is a national commercial law firm with over 400 staff located in Brisbane, Sydney, and Canberra. We are recruiting two new additions to our national Business Development and Marketing team to support growth ahead of our centenary in 2026. The roles are: a permanent position (based in Brisbane or Sydney) and a max-term contract until the end of 2026 (based in Brisbane).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality panel and project/matter-specific tenders and credential statements (often working directly with senior lawyers and partners in their respective practice or industry groups).
• End-to-end coordination of firm, practice and client events.
• Prepare email marketing campaigns and social media posts, including developing copy in line with the firm's key messaging, and creating relevant digital assets.
• Contribute to the firm's strategy, including supporting various projects in preparation for the firm's centenary in 2026, and working on innovation projects to enable data-driven decision-making and task automation.
• Assist with the ongoing maintenance of our client relationship management (CRM) system (Dynamics 365).
• Participate in client listening initiatives, including tender debriefs.
• Prepare legal directory submissions.
• Manage client and industry research and reporting.
• Assist with management of the firm's strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
• Assist with internal communications, including the preparation of our monthly newsletter and developing content for our internal social media channel.

Experience and Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a business or communications-related discipline.
• Minimum of one year's experience as a Business Development and Marketing Coordinator.
• Enthusiastic and proactive with a keen interest in engaging with a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities.
