We are seeking a skilled Insurance Incident Analyst to join a leading superannuation fund.

As anInsurance Incident Analyst,you will support the management and remediation of insurance-related incidents and claims. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with Fund policies, SIS legislation, and delivering high-quality outcomes for members impacted by insurance and claim-related events.

Duration:6 months

Location:Melbourne or Sydney (remote work option is available).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage a portfolio of insurance and claim-related incidents, ensuring timely and compliant remediation.
  • Maintain accurate incident and remediation records across both administrative and insurance functions.
  • Coordinate and manage incidents and breaches involving multiple third parties (including administrators and insurers).
  • Oversee the execution and quality of remediation and rectification actions performed by third parties.
  • Conduct analysis and quality assurance on outcomes affecting impacted member cohorts.
  • Hold third parties accountable for the timely and effective delivery of remediation plans.
  • Make informed decisions within delegated authority and maintain appropriate decision registers.
  • Ensure all incident and remediation activities meet applicable legislative, SIS, and organisational compliance standards.

    Essential Experience & Skills:
    • Proven experience in incident and remediation analysis, preferably in the superannuation and/or insurance claims domain.
    • Deep understanding of superannuation industry processes, especially insurance within super funds.
    • Solid working knowledge of SIS Act and SIS Regulations relevant to member remediation and incident handling.
    • Experience managing third-party providers and holding them accountable for service performance.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
      • Proven experience in incident and remediation analysis, preferably in the superannuation and/or insurance claims domain.
      • Deep understanding of superannuation industry processes, especially insurance within super funds.
      • Solid working knowledge of SIS Act and SIS Regulations relevant to member remediation and incident handling.
      • Experience managing third-party providers and holding them accountable for service performance.
