  • Maintain and execute the appropriate statistical sales forecasting functionality
  • Seek continuous improvement in application of available APO DP functionality to optimize forecast accuracy

  • Create statistical sales forecasts in the SAP APO tool, ensuring modelling is representative of historical data
  • Recommend adjustments to improve forecast accuracy and/or improve accompanying context
  • Ensure provision of material, including data and assumptions to facilitate the monthly National Demand Review Meetings to achieve consensus and signoff of the IBR and ARC Regional Sales Forecasts (including accompanying context)
  • Coach and support the Regional Sales and Commercial teams to increase their knowledge and expertise in sales forecasting
  • Ensure the signed off SIC sales forecast (including accompanying context) is correctly fed into the SIC supply planning and execution processes

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive alignment and implement sustainable, efficient demand planning processes.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Science
  • Demonstrated experience leading the Demand Planning function within a complex distribution and manufacturing organisation
  • Understanding and demonstrated ability to define and implement improvement initiatives across planning processes
  • Experience working across complex business structures without direct line authority to deliver required business change
  • Advanced skills and knowledge using SAP or Advanced Planning Systems and statistical forecasting techniques and systems
  • Competent with techniques for change management and negotiation
