At Pure Living, we are an independent family-owned NDIS provider offering a variety of accommodation options, including respite or Short-Term Accommodation (STA), Medium-Term Accommodation, and Supported Independent Living (SIL) with 24/7 support services. We specialise in person centred supports to meet individual needs.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Disability Support Worker, located in Maitland, NSW. The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for providing daily support to individuals, assisting with personal care, and facilitating activities that promote independence. The worker will also ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants by following safeguarding procedures and providing person centred supports.

Qualifications

  • Experience as Support Workers and strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and protocols
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Reliable and compassionate with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Relevant certification or training in Disability Support or related fields
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Driver's license
