Through their Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), and Centre-Based Respite, the KKCS team supports older Australians in making their own choices about how they want to live and be supported.
As services grow, they are looking to welcome new Support Workers to their team. They seek people who genuinely care, communicate with kindness, and want to make a real difference.
As a Grade 3 or 4 Aged Care Support Worker, you will:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, domestic duties, social engagement, and transportation, respecting each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Start times from 7:00am may be required, depending on client needs.
- Support clients with medication management as part of their care plans.
- Be a reliable, compassionate presence, helping clients feel valued and comfortable within their own homes.
- Accurately document care activities using an iPad and report any concerns or observations to the Coordinator or Admin team.
About you:

- You have experience in community care or aged care through employment or formal caregiving.
- Comfortable using an iPad for documentation and communication.
- You bring a polite, open, and honest communication style, and know how to build trust with clients.
- Strong understanding of aged care quality standards and safe work practices.
- You're reliable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and genuinely passionate about supporting older Australians.
- Able to work autonomously in the field.
Essential Requirements:
- A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent is essential, with medication competency highly desirable.
- Australian Driver's License, Car Registration, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Willing to undertake and pass a Police Check.
