Step into a fully supported employment and training position, where you will work and study for 12 months to gain your qualification.

Must be available to work Wednesdays.

Shifts available Monday to Sunday

Responsibilities
  • Assist the elderly in a Residential Aged Care setting with daily lifestyle and activities.
  • On-the-job training and attend training days to obtain a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021).
  • Be paired with a workplace Buddy/Mentor and receive support from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and Ternary.
  • Move from trainee to qualified rate within the specified timeframe.
  • Work flexible hours with a minimum guaranteed 15 hours per week, up to 35 hours.

  • Must have valid working rights in Australia already and reside in Australia
  • To access State Funding (for the training) must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Have regular availability to work AM shift 6:30am to 2:30pm, PM 2:30pm to 10:00pm, and to attend training 9:30am to 4:30pm
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week, Monday to Sunday.
  • Must be able to work Wednesdays.
