About The Venue

Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows is nestled amongst the sand dunes at Caves Beach. Only an hour from Sydney or 40 minutes from Newcastle, Caves Coastal is the perfect location for delicious eats, decadent drinks and luxury accommodation. The hotel offers the perfect beachside venue for any event, specialising in weddings, corporate and social functions. With a paddock to plate ethos, the kitchen team are ready to offer the freshest and best local produce to every guest

About The Roles

We're looking for Food & Beverage Attendants to join our Conference & Events team on a Casual basis. This is a hands-on role perfect for enthusiastic hospitality professionals who love the buzz of a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll be helping deliver smooth and memorable events from setup to pack-down, all while providing warm, polished service that leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with setup and pack-down of event spaces
  • Provide efficient and professional food and beverage service during events
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of function spaces throughout service
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests during events
  • Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless service
  • Follow floor plans, run sheets, and event briefs to ensure accurate execution
  • Operate POS systems and manage beverage orders as required
  • Uphold RSA and food safety standards at all times
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-energy team culture
About You
  • Previous experience in food & beverage, ideally within a hotel, events, or banqueting environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with precision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
  • Flexible availability, including evenings/late nights, weekends, public holidays, and event-heavy periods
  • Current RSA certification required

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.31 – $38.78 per hour

Experience
  • Food & Beverage Attendant: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Conference & Events: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification
  • RSA (Preferred)
