The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and caring Learning Strategies Teacher to join the team at Malvern on a full time, permanent basis, starting at the beginning of term 1, 2026. The Learning Strategies Teacher will demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students through effective and innovative teaching.
Key Duties- Structure teaching programs using research and collegial advice about how students learn
- Develop teaching activities that incorporate differentiated strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities
- Design and implement teaching activities that support the participation and learning of students with disability and address relevant policy and legislative requirements
- Provide flexible support that caters for individual students and use effective assessment methods to track and report on student progress
- Actively participate in professional development activities
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviors
- Teaching and Presentation, Time Management and Organisation skills
- Direct experience in working with children with individual learning needs
- Flexible, Creative, Approachable and a Team Player
- Master of Special Education and/or equivalent qualification in supporting highly able students
- Hold a current VIT Registration
