Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of financial system migration activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with the migration process.
  • Oversee data integrity and quality assurance throughout the migration.
  • Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues.
  • Document processes, procedures, and lessons learned to support future projects.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or consultants as required for specialised support.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organisational policies during the migration.
  • Communicate project progress and outcomes to key stakeholders effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful System Migration Specialist should have:

  • Strong experience in financial system migration projects within the technology department.
  • Proficiency in data management and quality assurance practices.
  • Ideally experience in Outseta and Circle
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical expertise in relevant systems.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise competing demands effectively.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in the not-for-profit industry.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges.
