Application/Software Consultant – Patient Costing

PowerHealth is an established and growing, Adelaide based software provider delivering healthcare business systems to the Australian and international markets. Our customer base includes healthcare organisations throughout Australia, New Zealand, North America, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

We are looking for an Application Consultant in Patient Costing to join our team of client facing applications specialists, This role will see you joining our team in helping us continue to deliver implementations and support to our worldwide customer base.

Our Patient Costing Consultants are experts in our PowerPerformance Manager (PPM) product which provides healthcare settings with powerful and timely data to assist in management decision making.

With a strong client facing focus, our consultants work with our application and customers to configure, implement and use the PPM application. Ensuring our clients gain maximum value from their data is at the heart of what we do. The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Working closely with clients to implement PPM
  • Undertake costing studies on behalf of clients
  • Assist clients in refining their costing processes, understanding costing results and production of costing report
  • Provide product support to our clients throughout the world
  • Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of our applications

What we're looking for from you:

  • An ability to learn and work within a team environment
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client focus
  • Computer savvy with an investigative nature

The following attributes, whilst not essential, would be highly regarded:

  • Experience with Casemix and ABF
  • Experience with hospital finance processes
  • Knowledge of Patient Costing Methodologies
  • Hospital or Healthcare experience at any level
  • A degree in finance, economics, health management or similar
  • Technical skills and experience working with SQL, JavaScript and MS SQL

This role is based out of our Adelaide office, but also offering opportunities to work from home. Interstate travel is requirement of the role and there may be opportunity for some international travel from time to time.
