Cement Plant Operator

Townsville, Queensland, Australia Wagners CFT Full time

We are currently looking for a full-time Plant Operator to join our team and meet the interesting challenges of production operations at our depot 5 days a week at Stuart in the Townsville Region.

Rates $31.32 - $37.03/hour + Super + Overtime.

You will be required Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as needed.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate the Depot mobile equipment including forklift
  • Collect and analyse cement production samples
  • Load & Unload Iso Containers and Load Cement Tankers
  • Make Bulk Bags of Cement
  • Grease and clean mobile machinery
  • Perform inspections on both fixed and mobile plant equipment
  • Comply with Wagners Obligations under Chain of Responsibility

What you'll bring

  • Experience working in a continuous manufacturing workplace (preferable)
  • Familiarity with computers
  • Willingness to learn and a flexible 'can-do' attitude
