Role

Your role works in conjunction with other members of your team, each fulfilling an important part in supporting clients day-to-day as they navigate life finding employment. As an Employment Consultant, your role supports clients from the start when they initially join with Breakthru, it includes:

• Promoting the benefits of employment
• Reverse marketing to employers
• Delivering job readiness training sessions
• Providing on the job support & ongoing support
• Placing customers in sustainable employment
• Drive community and employer engagement
• Establishing & maintaining relevant stakeholder relationships

You will also be required to complete a range of administration to document a person's progress in line with program funding and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Disability or direct support work (including complex or essential services)
• Personal, family, or lived experience of disability
• Administration, recruitment, or human services experience, with a passion for the disability sector
• Drivers License (essential)
• Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)
• Working with children's check (essential or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
