Are you an organised and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a passion for the hospitality fitout industry? Do you have experience in contract administration and a strong understanding of cabinet making and fitout processes? We are looking for a motivated and skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at a leading Gold Coast-based company, specialising in hospitality fitouts for amazing restaurants and cafes across Australia.

Our client is known for delivering high-end hospitality fitouts, creating exceptional dining experiences across Australia. From bustling cafes to sophisticated restaurant spaces, they work on some of the most exciting and innovative projects in the industry.

Role Overview: As a Project Coordinator, you will be a crucial support to our Project Managers and Site Installation Teams. Your role will focus on overseeing the day-to-day coordination of projects, ensuring they stay on track, and providing vital contract administration and organisational support to deliver our fitout projects on time and within budget.

The role involves:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of hospitality fitout projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Contract Administration: Support in managing contracts, variations, and progress claims. Ensure compliance with contract terms and timelines.
  • Site Coordination Support: Liaise with the site installation teams to ensure that project work progresses smoothly and any on-site issues are resolved promptly.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, site reports, and progress tracking.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the project managers, site teams, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
  • Attention to Detail: Carefully review project specifications, plans, and budgets to ensure all work meets required standards.

The successful candidate ideally have:

  • Experience in Fitouts and / or shopfitting : A strong understanding of how a cabinet maker and fitout company works, including knowledge of materials, processes, and construction timelines.
  • Project Coordination Skills: Proven experience in project coordination, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
  • Contract Administration Skills: Experience in managing contracts, variations, and project documentation is essential.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to spot issues early, ensure all details are addressed, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Team Player: Must be collaborative and able to work well with project managers, site teams, and contractors.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear communication with both internal and external teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
  • Full Work Rights in Australia: You must have full work rights to be eligible for this role.
