The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate the successful delivery of our upcoming commercial and industrial projects. This is a pivotal role within our growing team, with the opportunity to contribute to our next phase of national expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management: Plan, manage, and oversee commercial construction and fitout projects from concept to completion.
  2. Leadership: Lead internal site teams, subcontractors, and in-house manufacturing operations to ensure seamless project delivery.
  3. Technical Skills: Develop project schedules, methodologies, and solutions to meet client deliverables, timelines, and budget constraints.
  4. Innovation: Analyse complex challenges and develop innovative solutions to achieve project goals.
  5. Financial Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including accurate cost estimation, forecasting, and monitoring expenditure throughout the lifecycle.
  6. Risk & Compliance: Champion WHS practices, risk mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to compliance standards including quality audits.
  7. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders through clear, consistent communication.
  8. Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

About You

  1. Proven experience managing multiple commercial fitout or construction projects.
  2. Background in Construction Management with hands-on experience in carpentry is highly desirable.
  3. Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry regulations.
  4. Strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
  5. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
  6. Proficiency with project management software and systems.
  7. Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related field (highly regarded).
  8. Current QLD driver's licence (essential).
