Overview

Shadforth Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia

Due to continued growth and a large pipeline of projects we are looking to add to our Pre-contracts team in the way of a new Senior Estimator. You will play a key role in pricing a range of civil infrastructure projects and ensuring our bids exceed our client's expectations. You will have a range of responsibilities from reviewing tender documentation, scope of works and contract documentation through to preparing estimates on a range of projects across Queensland and Northern NSW. You will be working within an experienced and supportive team culture at one of the best workplaces in Australia.

About You

To be considered, you must have site experience (Project Engineers, Project Manager welcome to apply) in the Australian Civil Construction sector on subdivisions and infrastructure projects between $500k and $20M.

Responsibilities
  • Experience pricing or delivering Civil projects (Ideally experience in Sub-divisions)
  • Demonstrate ownership in your previous roles
  • Proficient with industry standard software programs and ability to articulate construction methods clearly and concisely
  • Ability to identify risks, opportunities and present alternate methodologies or solutions to achieve a greater outcome for the project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with co-workers, management at all levels, clients and sub-contractors
  • Experience in mentoring junior estimators
