Senior Manager – Cyber Security Architecture – Projects – APAC

We're looking for a Senior Manager – Cyber Security Architecture to lead cybersecurity initiatives across APAC, focusing on secure system design and implementation across OT and IT environments in ports, terminals, and logistics.

A key focus will be driving security architecture and controls for the Zodiac Terminal Operating System (TOS) rollout, while ensuring alignment with Group Security, regional IT, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across OT, enterprise IT, and cloud security, with a focus on compliance, resilience, and the core principles of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture & Design

• Develop and maintain security architecture blueprints for integrated OT/IT ecosystems, including SCADA, PLCs, TOS, enterprise networks, and cloud environments
• Design and implement defence in depth strategies, secure network segmentation and micro-segmentation, data protection frameworks (encryption, tokenisation, DLP), and SIEM/SOAR integration across OT and IT
• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulations specific to the APAC Region (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, local data privacy and cybersecurity laws)

Security Architecture Governance

• Define security architecture patterns that are aligned with the organization's cyber security architecture frameworks
• Lead technical reviews of OT/IT infrastructure designs including network security, web and application security, network access control (NAC), and remote access/VPN
• Ensure that secure development practices are embedded across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Establish architectural standards, define security controls, and be=ensure that APIs are designed, implemented, and maintained in compliance with organization standards and policies
• Ensure that developed code is scanned using static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) scanners and APIs are scanned using API-specific security testing platforms

Security Operations Integration

• Support the integration of OT/IT telemetry into SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel)
• Collaborate with the security operations centre (SOC), cyber security operations teams, and incident response teams on architecture related investigations
• Assist in the design of security controls that are embedded in disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's/Master's in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. SABSA, TOGAF, CompTIA Security, GICP) preferred.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years as a Security Architect—ideally in ports, logistics, supply chain, or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of OT/IT integration, SCADA, PLCs, and protocols (Modbus, Profinet, DNP3, OPC UA).
• Experience with IEC/ISA 62443, ISO 27001, NIST CSF v2.0 compliance and controls.
• Solid technical expertise across ICS/OT, enterprise IT, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with terminal operating systems (e.g. Navis N4, TOS+) is a plus.
• Understanding of Active Directory/Entra ID, secure SD-WAN/SASE, PAM, EDR/XDR.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills; able to work cross-functionally and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
