Cyber Security Architecture Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Architecture Manager to oversee the design, development, and implementation of secure systems and infrastructure across operational technology (OT) and information technology environments.

This key role will involve managing projects across APAC and working closely with regional and business IT teams to ensure alignment with security policies and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in industrial control systems/OT, cloud security, and enterprise IT architecture, as well as experience implementing and monitoring controls that align with IEC/ISA 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST CSF v2.0.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Architecture & Design
    Develop and maintain security architecture blueprints for integrated OT/IT ecosystems, including SCADA, PLCs, enterprise networks, and cloud environments.
  • Security Architecture Governance
    Define security architecture patterns aligned with organizational cyber security architecture frameworks; lead technical reviews of OT/IT infrastructure designs including network security, web and application security, network access control (NAC), and remote access/VPN.
  • Security Operations Integration
    Support integration of OT/IT telemetry into SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel); collaborate with security operations centre (SOC), cyber security operations teams, and incident response teams on architecture-related investigations.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Certifications such as SABSA, TOGAF, CompTIA Security, GICP highly desirable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Cyber Security roles with at least 3 years as Security Architect, preferably in Ports/Logistics/Supply Chain, asset-intensive industries, critical infrastructure or manufacturing.
  • Experience in OT/IT integration with SCADA and PLCs advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
