Job Title: Cyber Security Manager

The role is a challenging and dynamic opportunity to lead the design, development, and implementation of secure systems and infrastructure across operational technology (OT) and information technology environments.

As a Senior Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for driving the cyber security architecture and controls associated with the implementation of secure systems and infrastructure across OT and IT environments.

This role will also work closely with various teams, including Group Security and Governance, regional and business IT teams, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment with security policies and objectives.

The key responsibilities will include designing and governing secure architecture across OT, enterprise IT, and cloud landscape with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, cyber resilience, confidentiality, integrity, and availability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Cyber Security Architecture & Design:

    Develop and maintain security architecture blueprints for integrated OT/IT ecosystems, including SCADA, PLCs, TOS, enterprise networks, and cloud environments.


  • Cyber Security Architecture Governance:

    Define security architecture patterns that are aligned with established cyber security architecture frameworks; lead technical reviews of OT/IT infrastructure designs including network security, web and application security, network access control (NAC), and remote access/VPN.

    Ensure secure development practices are embedded across the SDLC; establish architectural standards, define security controls, and ensure APIs are designed, implemented, and maintained in compliance with standards and policies.

    Ensure that code is scanned using SAST and DAST and APIs are scanned using API security testing platforms.


  • Security Operations Integration:

    Support the integration of OT/IT telemetry into SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel); collaborate with security operations centre (SOC), cyber security operations teams, and incident response teams on architecture-related investigations.

    Assist in the design of security controls that are embedded in disaster recovery and business continuity plans.


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor Degree/Master's in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Certifications such as SABSA, TOGAF, CompTIA Security, GICP are highly desirable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Cyber Security roles with at least 3 years as Cyber Security Architect, preferably in Ports/Logistics/Supply Chain, asset-intensive industries, critical infrastructure or manufacturing.
  • Experience in OT/IT integration with SCADA and PLCs is advantageous.
  • Experience implementing and monitoring controls that align with IEC/ISA 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST CSF v2.0.
  • Familiarity with Modbus, Profinet, DNP3, OPC UA, and industrial VLAN architectures is advantageous.
  • Strong technical background in industrial control systems/OT, cloud security, and enterprise IT architecture.
  • Experience with terminal operating systems (e.g., Navis N4, TOS+) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID security, secure SD-WAN and SASE architectures, privileged access management, and EDR/XDR.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Candidates who can start immediately or on short notice are a plus.
