Overview

Our client seeks a Grit Blaster TA to join them in their facility in Bassendean. This role has the potential to be ongoing for the right candidate.

About The Company

Our client is a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in the creation of custom heavy equipment for key clients, primarily in the mining industry across Western Australia.

About The Role
  • Grit blasting including confined space.
  • Assist with surface preparation and cleaning
  • Cleaning of blast rooms
  • Tank movements between workshops / blast room
  • General workshop and equipment maintenance
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Be physically fit for grit blasting activities.
  • Be a team player and a "can do" attitude
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Work to schedule requirements.
  • Have a professional attitude and sound and safe work ethic.
  • Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space training desirable
  • Forklift Licence is essential.
  • Previous experience in a paint environment an advantage
Desirable Qualifications
  • Forklift License - Mandatory
  • WSH and CSE Desirable
  • WP Class - Desirable
  • C Class drivers licence

You will have the highest regard for safety in the workplace. You will be required to pass a medical including drug and alcohol testing, random drug and alcohol testing will also be carried out on site. You will need to have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role
