Resource Up has partnered with several established leading contractors, looking for Industrial Painters and Blasters to join their team for upcoming projects.
You can Start IMMEDIATELYPerth based roles available - Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm (DAYS Only)
The Roles will include:
- Competitive hourly rates + Super
- Performing abrasive blasts to mining equipment surfaces to remove sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt
- Perform sandblasting, grit blasting, or high-pressure water blasting
- Mix and prepare paints, epoxies and industrial coatings according to manufacturer guidelines
- Inspect surfaces before and after to ensure high quality and to adhere to the industry standards
- Comply with standards when handling hazardous materials
- Apply primers, topcoats and protective coatings using spray guns
- Inspection of work area and surrounding are conducted daily to ensure good housekeeping
Skills/ Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Industrial Painter/Blaster
- Must hold a valid Australian Drivers License
- Must have legal working rights within Australia
- Must be able to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
- Forklift License - desirable
- Nationally accredited Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (within 2 years) - desirable
- Nationally accredited Working at Heights (within 2 years) - desirable
- Elevating Work Platform License - desirable
- Positive Can-do Attitude and committed to working safely in a team environment
