Overview

Join MCC Brisbane team in an exciting and immediate opportunity as a Print Assistant. If you're mechanically minded, want to take that next step within a global organisation, and are eager to learn, we'll provide full training to get you up to speed. This role provides a pathway to grow into a Print Apprenticeship, gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment. The role offers a structured schedule with 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, with morning and night shifts available.

Duties
  • Supporting our technical print team in producing printed and embellished labels at a high volume for major national clients
  • Assisting the lead Printer in the operations of the press, including setup and minding
  • Job preparations using raw materials such as plates, paper, foil, ink and varnish
  • Basic data records on machine operations
  • Quality control checking responsibilities
  • General housekeeping of the working environment, such as cleaning and keeping the area safe
About You
  • Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to discern all colours (no colour vision concerns)
  • High regard for safety and a proactive, eager learner
  • Eligible for Australia working rights
