
Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager, will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services for a well known financial institution based in Sydney CBD, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery while managing supplier relationships and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Cost Management: Analyzing market trends, negotiating prices, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Contract Management: Ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations, managing contract renewals, and resolving disputes.
- Inventory Management: Optimizing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs, ensuring timely delivery and preventing stockouts.
- Supplier Evaluation: Assessing supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance supplier relationships.
- Procurement Process: Overseeing the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to receiving goods and services.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with procurement, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of Procurement Processes and Best Practices: Understanding of the procurement lifecycle and industry standards.
- Proficiency in Procurement Software: Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: The ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Industry Certifications: Certifications such as the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
