The Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA) is the peak body and professional membership association for all nurses working outside of a hospital setting in Australia. APNA provides education, representation, advocacy and support services for primary health care nurses across the country.
About The Role
Sitting within the APNA Nurse Engagement and Professional Development (NEPD) team, you'll work to support APNA staff, members and contacts with database and website tasks. You will be responsible for managing our BOND database, which includes our CMS, DAM and CRM. You'll collaborate directly with end users, business teams, and our technology partner BOND to design and deliver smart solutions that solve problems, optimise business operations and improve user experience. You will also support the day-to-day operation of the NEPD team, including complex reporting, technical support of marketing activities, subscription and financial management, and workflow and bulk contact updates. You will also have the opportunity to work on larger-scale projects, to roll out new features, optimise our website and database setups and user experience, and collaborate on change projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is an excellent problem solver, highly adaptable, logical and eager to make a difference. This is a full-time role, hybrid between our Melbourne CBD office and home.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing support tickets with our technology partner to resolve issues and roll out new features/enhancements
- Sophisticated reporting to support business needs
- Working with APNA staff to bring their feature requests to life
- Testing, refinement and bringing a best-practice eye to all developments
- Data integrity management
- Website content updates
- Apply user experience principles to our website, user processes for sign-ups, etc.
- Supporting the team with training, troubleshooting and system queries
- Review and optimisation of existing website structure and content
- Experience in the coordination of cross-functional, large-scale change projects.
- Advanced interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, collaboration and relationship management
- Ability to manage a large database on legacy software
- Highly skilled and creative in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Excellent eye for detail, adaptability and persistence
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in process documentation
- Fluent in English
- Experience in website design and optimisation
- User experience research and design skills
- Good vibes and would suit a fun and hardworking team.
- Experience working in health care, membership organisations, or the not-for-profit sector.
