Invested Talented is partnering with a leader in the online Lending business that are on a mission to change the way B2B lending decisions are made globally.

With huge vision and an amazing, forward thinking team to back this up, our client is on the market for a Data Analyst or Cloud Engineer to join the team and propel their data to the next level.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leader in their space that's transforming how SMEs access funding. Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing the businesses cloud based analytic and reporting infrastructure. This is a hybrid role (4/1) based in Sydney, offering a dynamic, collaborative work environment with great salary, bonus and perks.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all business partners have the right data, at the right time, to make educated data driven decisions
• Working within the Data and Analytic team, you will be responsible for leading a key stream of work to enhance the cloud based analytic environment
• Provide stakeholder updates to the Executive Team and other Senior Management as required
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

To be considered for this role:

• 2–3 years of experience in cloud engineering/data pipelines, ideally within fintech or financial services
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, plus SysOps knowledge
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset
• A collaborative, curious, and execution-focused approach

• You connect the dots quickly and question the status quo
• You enjoy working with stakeholders across geographies and disciplines
