The Opportunity

Roussos Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading civil contractor that is shaping the future of South Australia's infrastructure. Recognised for their innovative approach and commitment to quality, this company has built a strong reputation across civil construction, structural concreting, and large-scale commercial landscaping.

With a focus on long-term client relationships and sustainable project outcomes, this contractor is in an exciting growth phase. They are now seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their dynamic team and take ownership of major projects in the pipeline.

The Job

As Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex and high-value civil projects across SA. Working closely with experienced Project Managers and Site Supervisors, you will lead technical coordination, quality control, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Enjoy a balance of office and site-based work as you continue to develop your leadership skills and pave your way towards a Project Manager position.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading engineering input across planning, design, delivery, and close-out phases
  • Managing technical specifications, documentation, and compliance with project standards
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve key milestones
  • Supporting the development and implementation of safety, environmental and quality plans
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with clients, consultants, and delivery partners
  • Reviewing and preparing documentation such as Work Method Statements and ITPs
The Like Mind

You are a seasoned civil engineer with experience delivering medium to large-scale infrastructure or civil projects in Australia. You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are confident working with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key qualities for success in this role include:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in a Senior Project Engineer role within civil infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety legislation, and project controls
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ambition to progress into Project Management
