The Relief position offers an opportunity to gain experience and make a difference in someone's life while working with individuals facing mental health challenges and developmental disabilities.

Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual challenges referred by the Department of Developmental Services. Our mission is to provide safe, nurturing homes that meet individual needs and preferences. We encourage active community involvement through volunteering, classes, outings, or health clubs. Our staff ensures individuals have the support and skills to lead successful, satisfying lives in the community.

Relief Counselors play a vital role in our mission by providing direct support care, meeting daily living needs, and maintaining a safe, inspiring environment.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
  • Assist individuals with accessing transportation.
  • Implement activities that promote community engagement and personal relationships.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.

The organization offers additional hourly differentials based on skills, location, training, and the population served. Please ask your recruiter if this position qualifies.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.
