TPG Telecom has recently announced the sale of its fibre network infrastructure assets and enterprise, government and wholesale fixed business. Over the coming months we will undertake detailed separation and transition planning to prepare for this exciting transaction and ensure our teams and customers are supported through this process.

Your opportunity:

As our valued Product Development Manager, you will play a vital role in defining detailed product requirements and collaborating with design and Engineering teams to create product concepts, prototypes, and solution designs.

You'll make impact by:

  • Gathering and preparing cost analysis for developing new products, and owning product cost model
  • Assessing solution options for optimal delivery to business needs
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams for prioritising product feature development and executing and delivering the products and product offers.
  • Ensuring that all platforms and processes are developed, operational readiness and E2E business readiness testing is completed and signed off
  • Ongoing technical support of the EGW products, including ongoing product enhancements, product issues and defects, defining problems, ideating potential solutions, and collaborating with cross functional teams to resolve them
  • Managing technical partners to ensure delivering the best in market products and capabilities to our customers
  • Developing and maintaining detailed internal product documentation including service descriptions, user stories, decision making rationale, IT specifications, user guides, fact sheets, etc.
  • Providing technical product support for large customer deals involving product customisation and new capabilities.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven product management or product development experience
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in telco and/or technology market managing all stages of the product lifecycle
  • Technical Background with knowledge of network technologies and software development
  • Strong knowledge on Project management methodologies including Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, and general project management skills to keep the budgeting, tasks, and timelines in check.
  • Outstanding influencing skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to lead collaboratively across multiple cross functional teams to deliver outcomes
  • Exceptional drive to inspire change, and a proven track record of problem solving in complex business problems.
  • Ability to deal with rapid change and quick pace with resilience and fortitude.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Mobility experience
  • Degree qualified ideally in engineering or business fields
