Graphic & Copy Manager @ Leading fashion marketplace

Graphic & Copy Manager (12 month max term contract) role with a leading fashion marketplace based in Sydney, NSW, AU. Our client is the leading fashion, sports and lifestyle e-commerce destination in the region. Their e-commerce platforms (Retail, Marketplace and Services) provide a seamless and inspiring end-to-end customer experience.

The Production Team is a dynamic group including Photographers, Stylists, Hair & Makeup Artists, Retouchers, Content Writers and more. Production is a bustling hub of clothes and products making their way online for customers to purchase. The Graphic & Copy Manager will lead hands-on creative graphic design, including ideation, pitching, execution, and team direction, and oversee the Graphics & Copy teams' contributions to go-to-market stories, campaigns, and promotions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end creation of multimedia marketing assets.
  • Review and provide feedback to ensure brand consistency and design quality.
  • Ensure cohesive integration of design, copy, photography, and animation.
  • Oversee creative output of in-house designers, copywriters, freelancers, and external teams.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to foster a high-performing team.
  • Support team skill development and growth.
  • Support scalability through documentation, process improvement, and resource management.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring to build a strong team.
  • Manage project traffic and workload for timely delivery.
About You
  • Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing, motivating, and guiding a team to achieve goals.
  • Experience in retail graphic design preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable organisational skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement, innovation and learning.
