About the Role

As a Senior Identity Engineer at Cbus, you'll play a key role in designing and maintaining secure, scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions that support our enterprise-wide transformation. Reporting to the Principal Identity Engineer, you'll bring senior-level expertise and autonomy to drive delivery, influence stakeholders, and uplift IAM capability across the organisation.

This is an exciting time to join. We're actively investing in modernising our IAM landscape, enhancing authentication, streamlining governance, and strengthening privileged access controls. You'll be instrumental in shaping how these initiatives are delivered, influencing architecture decisions, and collaborating across teams to ensure our IAM systems are robust, compliant, and future-ready.

You'll also contribute to our strategic identity roadmap and act as a subject matter expert in authentication, governance, and access control - helping us build a secure foundation for digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support enterprise IAM systems across Identity Provider (IdP), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) domains.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for IAM-related issues.
• Champion the adoption of modern IAM standards like SAML, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and FIDO2.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define IAM requirements and integrate solutions into business applications and processes.
• Maintain and continuously improve IAM policies, procedures, documentation, and technical controls in line with industry best practices.

About You

You're a seasoned IAM professional with deep expertise across identity domains and a passion for building secure, scalable identity architecture. Whether your background is in SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Azure AD, ForgeRock, and/or CyberArk, you bring a strategic mindset and hands-on experience to uplift IAM maturity across complex environments. Basically, we're less focused on specific tools and more interested in your ability to contribute across IAM domains.

You thrive in environments where identity is central to digital transformation, and you're ready to lead the evolution of IAM practices - balancing innovation, governance, and operational excellence.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Cybersecurity, or relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Okta, SailPoint, CISSP).
• Strong experience in Identity and Access Management, with demonstrated capability in at least two of the following domains: Identity Provider (IdP) – e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity; Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) – e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt; Privileged Access Management (PAM) – e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust
• Solid understanding of IAM protocols and standards: SAML, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and/or FIDO2.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
• A strategic, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and secure design.
