Overview

Identity & Security Delivery Engineer – Fixed-Term Contract | Leading Organisation | Melbourne

Join a forward-thinking team committed to enhancing digital security and identity management. The client is seeking a dedicated Identity & Security Delivery Engineer for a fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities
  • Integrate on-premises Active Directory with Azure Active Directory to ensure seamless identity management.
  • Develop, implement, and configure modern identity solutions, including Azure AD Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Demonstrate proven experience with Single Sign-On and Azure AD Application Proxy.
  • Maintain the effectiveness and currency of security solutions across servers and workstations.
  • Participate in and coordinate workshops aimed at identifying improvement opportunities and designing effective solutions.
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing to validate solution performance and security.
  • Share knowledge and foster a collaborative work ethic to support team success.
  • Comfortable with BAU work.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory integration and management.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts and tools.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Azure AD security features such as MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications related to identity and security (preferred).
  • Comfortable with BAU work.
Desirable
  • Experience conducting workshops or training sessions on security solutions.
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation related to identity management.
  • Familiarity with other cloud security tools and best practices.
