Based at our Yea branch, the Nutrien Ag Solutions 2026 Livestock Career Development program will provide the skills and training you need to be a future leader or technical expert within the Livestock Industry. The program is designed for top talent to gain valuable experience in all aspects of Livestock activity while completing an in-house Certificate in Livestock Marketing. During the 24-month program (roles are all permanent), participants will be involved in leadership and skill-building workshops, receive on-the-ground training, and have mentors assigned to provide ongoing support. You will have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, learning effective selling and relationship-building techniques under the guidance of experienced livestock employees and leaders.

- Business skills: compliance, sales and client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, understanding finance, problem solving, negotiation and team leadership
- Livestock skills: next-generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements and emerging technology
- Strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry; excellent customer service and negotiation abilities
- Successful completion of Year 12
- Experience in Agriculture for at least 24 months, preferably in Livestock
- Willingness to relocate during or after the program
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident; temporary visa holders are not eligible
- Vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills and leadership potential
- Genuine interest in the Livestock Industry
