The Role: Senior Development Manager
As a Senior Development Manager, you'll take charge of planning and delivering new developments and value-add projects, ensuring they align with Levande's high standards and customer-focused approach.

With your expertise in design and construction, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams and play a pivotal role in growing our operations. Leadership and mentoring will be integral as you help define team structures and develop the skills of less experienced colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage feasibility studies, budgets, cashflows, and project timelines.
• Lead the design, statutory approvals, construction, and completion phases of projects.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain alignment with development objectives.
• Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring support for the project vision.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, mentoring junior team members to elevate their capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in property development, with expertise in design and construction. Residential or retirement living experience is highly valued.
• A solid background in project feasibility, cost control, and risk management.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a customer-first approach.
• Experience in construction or customer-facing roles, with an understanding of our residents' needs.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
