OverviewAs a Solution Sales Specialist, you'll represent Datacom to a broad range of customers, both Government and Corporate, promoting professional service offerings and developing new business opportunities for Datacom. The role focuses on selling Datacom's solutions to drive Professional Services revenue across platforms including Dynamics, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Data Analytics & AI. You should have detailed knowledge of the Australian Professional Services market and proven experience working with government agencies and corporate customers, with a track record of achieving targets.
Responsibilities- Represent Datacom to government and corporate customers, promoting professional services offerings and developing new business opportunities.
- Sell Datacom's solutions to drive Professional Services revenue across platforms including Dynamics, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Data Analytics & AI.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to ensure opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams, line-of-business owners and solution architects to manage long sales cycles and respond to RFPs.
- Absorb, apply and communicate technical information to a diverse audience; maintain currency of knowledge and engage with relevant partners.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, influencing and negotiation skills; manage and enrich strategic vendor relationships.
- 8+ years of sales experience in the Applications & Cloud Services market.
- Self-motivated, driven, results-oriented team player with a successful track record in solution selling.
- Solid understanding of the Applications and Cloud Services market with a substantial network at C-level within government and corporate customers.
- Understanding of the Applications Services market with the technical aptitude to pick up new offerings and services.
- Proven ability to manage long sales cycles including RFPs, working with pre-sales teams, line-of-business owners and solution architects; proven ability to qualify opportunities quickly.
- Maintaining currency of knowledge, training and engagement with relevant partners; ability to absorb, apply and communicate technical information to a diverse audience.
- Excellent customer and vendor relationship-building and management skills; strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience using Salesforce as the sales CRM for tracking opportunity progression through the sales cycle.
