Company Description

My Supports is a national provider of NDIS supports, including support coordination, daily life activities, community participation, and capacity building. We enable people of all abilities, including those with complex needs, to live independently in their communities. Founded by individuals with lived experience of disability, roughly 25% of our workforce has a disability. We work in small neighbourhood teams to foster local connections and support networks, and we pride ourselves on matching clients with support workers who share compatible personality traits, interests, and cultural backgrounds.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Neighbour Team Leader. The Neighbour Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily activities and support services provided by the team. Tasks include developing and implementing support plans, training team members, and ensuring compliance with NDIS standards. You will also work closely with clients to assess their individual needs and connect them with appropriate community resources and support options.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing support plans
  • Knowledge of NDIS standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the disability sector or social services is a plus
  • Relevant qualifications in social work, community services, or a related field
