We\'re expanding and are looking for a Desktop Support Officer to join our team in Orange, NSW to deliver high quality, onsite technical support to our customers. The role is full-time and requires onsite presence at our customer site.
Your role is to provide friendly and knowledgeable support to customers with a positive, can-do attitude. You will interact with a range of technology including mac and pcs, tablet devices, server systems, network infrastructure and voice platforms, although the bulk of the server and network elements will be managed by our specialist teams.
Responsibilities- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the customer\'s operations
- Be personable with end-users and develop a friendly rapport with customers
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify processes that require improvement or can be handled more efficiently
- Seek customer feedback on performance and actively work to continuously improve results
- Identify problems or requests without existing processes and develop and implement solutions with peers
- Ensure documentation and procedures are up to date
- Own day-to-day technology issues and coordinate with external third-party organisations
- Collaborate with peers in other teams to ensure a successful customer outcome
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and helping people resolve technical issues with computers and other devices
- A keen interest in technology and a strong desire to ensure technology functions optimally; willingness to learn new solutions and concepts
- Effective communication skills for troubleshooting and explaining issues and preventative measures
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- A positive attitude and can-do mindset with a track record of helping others resolve technical issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Flexibility in handling unusual situations and adjusting work schedules as needed
